John Dunning is an expert on rare books, knowledge he puts to good use in his books about Denver detective and rare-book dealer Cliff Janeways. The Janeways books are unique, part thriller, part hard-boiled, part fairly clued mystery, but always surprising and entertaining. The bookstore background provides an added treat for collectors. We can only hope for more Janeways books someday.

Dunning is an expert on old-time radio in addition to being a rare book dealer, and his latest novel, Two O'Clock, Eastern Wartime is set in a radio station in New Jersey during the Second World War.
